Yuko shampoo and conditioner review

Hello everybody
About  week ago I won a competition from Baobella and I won a shampoo and conditioner from Yuko worth £25!!!
By the way if you haven't checked Baobella out before I would HIGHLY recommend it, they have awesome competitions and very good reduced prices for makeup and products.. http://www.baobella.com/

First of all the packaging is very simple, minimal which i like because they haven't overloaded the packaging and have just concentrated on the formula of the shampoo and conditioner. The sizes are very good also, the shampoo has 300ml and the conditioner has 240ml.
These shampoo and conditioner are formulated for dry, sensitized and chemically treated hair which is very awesome because they have catered it for many hair types so different people can use them.
Okay lets start with the shampoo, the formula is very thin and feels light on the hair which is awesome because sometimes shampoos can be too thick and 1. weigh my hair down and 2 can cause dandruff. However I think i had to use more shampoo than i normally use to evenly distribute it on my hair and to clean the hair sufficiently. But positively when I rinsed my hair it felt clean and light not clogged down with left over shampoo. After drying my hair with  hair dryer it felt very clean and not stripped of color or smoothness, which means that it actually is for people who have chemically treated hair (colored hair) so it didn't take out any color or dull it down.
Next for the conditioner, it isn't actually called conditioner, its called treatment. the texture of the treatment is bouncy not too thick or thin. When applying it i only needed a small 10 pence sized amount which is quite good because i have longish hair, but after rinsing it out WOW my hair felt VERY silky smooth and even when my hair was dyed the smoothness was still there and i think it even enhanced my reddish color to my hair, overall I loved the conditioner.

Overall I loved both products but i think that the 'treatment' conditioner was slightly better! I would highly recommend both products.

For a little extra I will show you the products which i use for my hair.

Firstly is my heat defence spray from TRESemme. It will protect hair up to 230 degrees temperature and has a great spray which evenly distributes the spray around my hair to protect it. The spray is applied when the hair is wet and will help to prevent 82% of breakage (well it says anyway). http://www.boots.com/en/TRESemme-Heat-Defence-Styling-Spray-300ml_14150/

Next is my hair mousse again from TRESemme, I use TRESemme products because they are good price and actually work. Okay this mousse is from the natural collection and it is a great weightless voluminous mousse because the formulation is the mousse expands but it feels  light in the hair. The mousse gives my hair great volume and doesn't weight it down and make my hair feel gritty with product. This mousse doesn't give the most volume but it keeps the volume natural and light weight. It is humidity resistant which means it wont suddenly fall flat or react bad if the humidity chances.http://www.tresemme.co.uk/Products/Naturals/Weightless-Volumising-Mousse/
Last but not least the most vital tool for when my hair is wet. It is the Tangle teezer, it a 'brush' that has loads of different sized bristles which takes out any tangles and doesn't pull or snap the hair like normal brushes it takes less hair out which means it protects the hair. It is perfect for wet hair as it is gentle which is good for wet hair because wet hair is very fragile ans can snap easier. http://www.boots.com/en/Tangle-Teezer-Pink_1000439/

And that's the end of my blog post about hair!!!

My recent nail manicures!!

Helloo guys!!!
Sorry I haven't made any blog posts in a while, but I'm back making regular posts now!!!

Okayy over the last couple of weeks because I am a compulsive nail varnish junkie, I've been painting my nails very regularly..

By the way these wont be in order of when i painted them..

OOKKAAYY LETTSS GO

Actually lets start with My latest nail purchases, I love the sally hansons Double duty base an top coat it is great as it keeps my nail varnish on for a long time with a nice glossy finish. Also the Cutex nourishing nail polish remover is very nice because it isn't as harsh and doesn't strip the nails from moisture but effectively removes nail varnish properly.
Really sorry this photo is blurry but you can get the idea, this is two nail varnishes which i used to create the half striped effect on my thumb and ring finger, this was a really pretty EASY nail art that ANYONE can do!! The nail varnishes i used for the light blue color was Revlon nail varnish in 410 Dreamer which is a very pretty pastally (great word) powder blue color. And the purple color which looks blue in the picture is also from  Revlon however it is the nail art collection with a solid color on one side and a glitter on the other side, the nail varnish is called moon candy I would HIGHLY recommend it!!
OKAY next is this the most  AMAZINLY pretty blue metallic color from Essie in the shade Aruba blue. This color is really pigmented with one coat your good to go however i always put two coats on to get the true depth of color. This manicure lasted for 5 days which is very impressive with me because I change my nail color if it has chipped slightlyyy because chipped nails are  the DEVIL. Anyways this was my first Essie color and i am HUGELY impressed and will be purchasing more in the future. http://www.boots.com/en/Essie-Nail-Polish-Aruba-Blue-13-5ml_1347681/
Nexttttt

OKAY DON'T JUDGE ME on my poor manicure for this nail polish, I just painted them and didn't tidy up the edges. Right this is one of Revlon's new nail varnishes which is meant to smell of a different scent depending on which color you bought. I signed up to get a email when they first come out and because I am a nail varnish junkie I ordered that day!!! The color i got is called African Tea Rose which is a really pretty bright bubblegum pink. First of all I love the bottle itself, it is like a perfume bottle which is smart. Okay now for the down bit, open the bottle and it smells of.............nail varnish, put paint it on the nails and let it dry then smell and it will SLIGHTLY smell of a rosy scent, however a day after that will diminish. Overall the formula is the same if not VERY similar to the other Revlon nail polishes (which are great) but do not buy just because of the smell because it isn't that impressive. However I've seen some of the other colors and they look cool so if you get one get it because you like the color not the fragrance.   http://www.boots.com/en/Revlon-Parfumerie%C2%99-Scented-Nail-Enamel_1450732/

Next manicure is a cool silver one. I have always loved silver nail varnish because they hide a lot for example if you have ridgy nails thy will hide it because most silver nail varnishes have slightly textured metallic finishes, other reason is I love the look and how FABULOUS  and SASSY you will look with silver nail varnish. This one is from ORLY which has a very shiny metallic finish and with two coats is completing opaque and awesome. I really like the formula and the hard wearing of this polish.  This one is called Dazzle!!

Okay this is the manicure I have on now, it is a multicolored 'skittle' manicure with 5 different colors. Because it is the start of spring I wanted to start having fun with nail polishes and get out of the boring one color manicure, also I couldn't decide so i choose all. From little finger going in is a pretty green shimmery color from Revlon it is called 'coast is clear', next is the Essie color 'Aruba blue', next is a polish from a collection of nail varnishes i got ages ago from the brand Technic and it is a really pretty baby pink color. Next color is from models own and it is a very spring light purple lavender purpler from the gel collection, this color is called 'lilac sheen' . Last but not least is a O.P.I color called 'kiss e on my tulips' which is a sort of bright blue toned pink color.
I think people should start experimenting with different colored manicures, switch it up there is no right or wrong answer ANY colors you put on your fingernails will look pretty and like you have took ages looking for colors that went together.

And that's it for now.. Thanks for reading and I hope i gave you some ideas of nail varnishes you want to try out.
Bye!!!
